Rent an Allotment


If you would like to ‘grow your own’ then you can enquire about getting an allotment by contacting our Lettings Officer, Liz Nunn. We have some allotments that are divided into half sized plots which are ideal if you’ve not had an allotment before. Allotment plot sizes vary between 8 poles and 10 poles, currently costing £7.42 per pole a year which includes rent and water. As a member you can have the use of grass mowers free of charge. Cultivators are also available at a small hourly fee. Fuel for mowers and cultivators are not provided. We also keep a small range of products like bamboo canes, ground cover, string etc. which are on sale at the weekend during shop hours. More information is available under the Info tab.
